two comments – scout no one else is teaching tactical radio comms so you are far from the norm of former action guys teaching!

also on topic of family preparedness aside from cool gear and so on simple upgrades can save your life the father in this story had the foresight to install a simple shelter that saved 8 family members

i just though it important to note preparedness can encompass many facets and disasters.if any of you readers are in tornado prone areas please install a safe room or shelter.

    That would be awesome! Let me know. What I like most about this interview is how Patriotman discussed how he took meaningful steps towards where he is today. Those that have met him know that he is very humble and speaks to the common man.

As a long time contributor since 2007 to Survivalblog, consider getting Rawles on for an interview. One of his jobs as a Captain in the Army, was to DF Soviet HF comms. He might be able to share certain insights about NVIS propagation, and discuss his best seller, Patriots, Surviving the Coming Collapse, and other novels that are essentially instruction manuals. If we are into training, it should be balanced diet. Becoming self sufficient as possible is key.

Rawles certainly does share the core values discussed on this podcast. There is much in common, and much on a menu of topics that could be talked about that a wider audience, older and younger, would appreciate.
