The Newly “Woke” Salvation Army is Struggling, “Our Situation is Dire”
The Christian “Salvation Army” found themselves in the middle of a brutal scandal, after it was discovered they were pushing a form of “Critical Race Theory” on their employees. Once word got out, the proverbial poop hit the fan, and the group quickly reversed course, but it was too little, too late for Americans who’ve grown tired of everyone and everything becoming “politicized” by left-wing politics.
WPDE reported that The Salvation Army has withdrawn the “Let’s Talk About Racism” guide that suggested white people apologize for their race, according to a statement given by the organization Thursday.
The Christian group acknowledges the guide has become a “source of controversy,” stating it was originally intended to be a “voluntary resource.”
“We have done our best to provide accurate information, but unfortunately, some have chosen to ignore those efforts. At the same time, International Headquarters realized that certain aspects of the guide may need to be clarified,” reads the statement. “Consequently, for both reasons, the International Social Justice Commission has now withdrawn the guide for appropriate review.”

Cry me a river, the Salvation Army brought this on themselves when they came out with their “Let’s Talk About Racism” guide suggesting white people apologize for their race, they threw their hat in the ring with the leftists. So now that donations are drying up. they want to walk it back, what did they think was going to happen? They gave lost the trust of countless citizens. Like the old saying goes, when you lay down with dogs, you wake up with fleas. The majority of racism that I have seen is the racism many blacks have toward whites Thanks to Obama and the Biden/Harris fraud administration. So, Salvation Army, all Ican say is: ” You made your bed, now lie in it”.
Amen!!
You cant pi$s off 80% of the population (whites) and whine they wont use their “priviledge” to donate to your cause in the same sentence. Every action has a reaction. Oh, also; the CEO said it was all a ‘lie’. Now they acknowledge the ‘helpful voluntary book?’ Not a dime again, and man I had all 7 kids and 3 grandbabies dropping dollars and fives in those kettles every time. Trying to show mercy for all, now I am a racist? Forget about it…
Totally agree. I had my 4 kids putting money in those kettles every time, never again not one dime.
A well deserved reaction.
Couldn’t happen at a better time, imho..
These organizations/businesses, need to feel the pain, from loss of income.
Guys and gals like me/us, are the typical folks who do donate and buy stuff..
I have been making choices about who to shop with, stores to frequent based on their lunatic positions/policies for some time now, really ever since target went retard and said transfags could use womens restrooms.
We stopped buying from them immediately and had to ‘splain why to our grandkids, the boy at 5, was perplexed as to how that made sense, letting boys use girls bathrooms….
They make their choices, we make ours too.
They need us more than we need them…
The CRT document was bad enough, but that fake apology was worse. From the “apology” letter:
“But although we remain committed to serving everyone in need—regardless of their beliefs, backgrounds, or lifestyle—some individuals and groups have recently attempted to mislabel our organization to serve their own agendas. They have claimed that we believe our donors should apologize for their skin color, that The Salvation Army believes America is an inherently racist society, and that we have abandoned our Christian faith for one ideology or another.
Those claims are simply false, and they distort the very goal of our work.”
Mislabeled your organization for their agenda? No way do you get to play the victim here. People weren’t inventing these claims to smear you in bad faith, they were reading actual documents published and distributed by your organization. Documents that fully endorsed the intersectional/CRT woke lingo and worldview. Importantly too, people are cottoning on to the fact that the SA operates a International Social Justice Commission working with the UN. Given the choice of title and partner organization leads many to reasonably think that the CRT documents are just a symptom of a larger woke disease in the leadership of the SA.
“In this case, the guide “Let’s Talk About Racism,” was issued as a voluntary resource, but it has since become a focus of controversy. We have done our best to provide accurate information, but unfortunately, some have chosen to ignore those efforts.”
Oh I guess you’re the victim yet again. I guess myself and thousands others were either just a little too stupid or just too bigoted to realize how earnestly you were trying to provide accurate information. I guess you consider CRT and other intersectional nonsense to be accurate information. Good thing you decided to pull this document so the heat can blow off and those of us who “chose to ignore” this “accurate information” can get distracted.
“At the same time, International Headquarters realized that certain aspects of the guide may need to be clarified.”
Again just so were are clear, the problem isn’t the document or the SA. It’s us. So they’ll put some caveats on this thing to keep us unenlightened bigots from getting so angry next time. Now fuck off and give them money OK?
For the purposes of fairness, they did update the statement at the top:
“Elements of the recently issued “Let’s Talk About Racism” guide led some to believe we think they should apologize for the color of their skin, or that The Salvation Army may have abandoned its Biblical beliefs for another philosophy or ideology. That was never our intention, so the guide has been removed for appropriate review.”
I guess playing the victim and blaming your potential donors didn’t work out the first time around. Still no need to actually take responsibility right? At least they aren’t calling us bad-faith agenda-driven dummies in this update.
Just the fact that we now know they’re working with the UN is enough for me to never, ever donate a penny to them again.
Perhaps some wokies are starting to lose some ‘untouchable hubris’ meaning the financial pinch can work both ways. Not sure how policies of degrading your staunch supporters turned into wise decision making, but it reminds me of wannbe in-kids in high school turning on their friends to make it with the cool kids.
PS: sorry, but the whole ‘my bad now please donate or buy from us again’ CAN NOT cut it any longer. The Deplorable World needs to develop a solid reputation of don’t tread on me, and mean it with intelligence and effectiveness for once.
I just do not care! They will never get another penny from me!
They just need to get the word out to poc, as they are known for generous tipping. That will more than make up for stingy raaaacccisssts.
HAHAHAHHAHAHA YES
HAHAHAHAH! That was spot on!!! LOLLL
That was my first thought as well. GMTA (NC Scout, thank you for your service)
When the talk doesn’t align with the walk — believe the walk. When the talk and the walk align, you can believe they’re committed to them.
There’s no apology, no contrition and no remorse. I’ve moved on, but the Salvation Army, previously one of my mail recipients of money pegged for charitable donations, will never get another cent. I’ve found a local food pantry that is doing great relief work for the Tornadoes in KY, and the Cajun Navy gets my support for a national organization.

They tried to remove it from the Internet, which is impossible, so they could lie about their motives and products.
This kind of schmegegge gives Christians a bad name, but having read the document, it could have been written by the pseudo-Christian Communist “Sojourners” outfit.
May the “Salvation Army” go belly up as a warning to all who use and abuse Christ Jesus to peddle their commie schlock.
It’s time they disappear like the dodos they are.
We can do better with our charitable donations.
Uncle Sally helped me a lot when I was in the hospital at Ft. Hood Texas in 1970. They have changed a lot since then. No more donations from me. It’s too bad because they were a serviceman’s friend back in the day. Now my money will go to wounded warriors and tunnels2 towers.
