This is what happens when our government goes chasing hadji for 20 years while disregarding our neighbors south of the border. There was an opportunity to create relationships and strengthen these countries in a manner that benefits all parties while protecting our southern flank. But I guess when the swamp is in bed with the commies we arrive at where we are today.

The invasion thru our southern border began 50 years ago, and Putin is only continuing the USSR’s strategy. Yet now we have forgotten history and our duty to secure the country.

Off Topic, but what the heck, this is useful. Please use as you see fit.

Highly recommend this video from Brent0331 on the virtues of the AR-RPK. While I prefer my AKM version, unless you already have a life time supply of AK ammo, .223 will be king. This makes an AR-RPK a sensible alternative. Brent says the gas tube gases are cooled by the heavy barrel so the the rifle will continue to operate longer than a standard AR. A bipod works, but only not as good as a tripod that make the fire more accurate as one can traverse an area with a ‘cone of fire’. I would also use 20 round mags, or 3 round bursts if the operator is so disciplined, to extend it’s operating time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PFiXQmAbW0. A good AK version will eventually burst into flames, but it would not fail with continuous semi auto fire, but one could run out of AK ammo. The RPK has a heavy and long barrel, and a 50 percent heavier receiver that adds about 2 pounds or more, but it is more accurate. A 24 inch bull barrel on a AR does what is needed to convert the AR and it is still useful as a rifle. The extra weight is not all bad…..

Yep,. Unfortunately he does not see it coming as we do. But he will be on the right side of the issue. I trust that a high percentage, or most Marines will be. I git alone with Marine just fine.l

    This is very concerning.

I wonder if we are building up in Europe because they are building up here?

That’s standard “tit for tat” kinda stuff in the military world.
