BIDEN TO SEND MILITARY UNITS TO ‘EASTERN EUROPE’
The Biden administration is in the final stages of identifying specific military units it wants to send to Eastern Europe and writing up the military orders in an effort to deter Russia, which has massed tens of thousands of troops on the border with Ukraine, according to multiple US and defense officials.
No final decision has been made, but CNN reported that President Joe Biden discussed options for bolstering US troop levels in the Baltics and Eastern Europe with his top military officials during a briefing at Camp David on Saturday, according to a senior official.
The potential troop deployments come amid US warnings that a potential Russian invasion of Ukraine could be imminent. The State Department on Sunday reduced staffing at the US embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, with the departure of nonessential staff and family members out of “an abundance of caution.”
The goal of sending military reinforcements to Eastern Europe would be to provide deterrence and to reassure allies. One option the Biden administration is considering is moving between 1,000 to 5,000 troops, both to shore up Eastern European and Baltic allies and so they are available to help get American citizens out, if necessary, according to a senior defense official.

I wrote about this some months ago even prior to the Afghan debacle; I do NOT want us to go to war with Russia. No. Nyet. Just what we need: more supply disruptions, possible destruction of US assets at home and abroad, more dead Americans. Even were there something crucial to US interests does anyone think we could really prosecute real war against Russia now? My only compromise is this: only empowered, woke, non-domestic radical members will go fight being it’s just SO important.
Somehow the word ‘distraction from domestic destruction’ comes to mind. And, does anyone recall how all the draconian vax mandates hit just a few days after the Afghan exit? I suspect AP readers will, but everybody else: “Afghan whaattt???”
The democrats, RINOs, Neo-Cons, CIA, and the Military complex always go to war when their economic policies fail. China Joe the Oppressor will send woke military troops to protect the borders of Ukraine but the corrupt fool will not protect America’s southern border. Where are Texas Senator Ted Cruz and John Cornyn III regarding protecting the southern border? Well Senator Cruz is cowering in fear about the unarmed, peaceful people that went to DC on January 6, 2021 at the invitation Trump the clot shot pusher. And of course, stealth RINO Senator John Cornyn III is pull peddling at the the US Chamber of Congress and betraying America and Texas as he is supporting the open southern border in order to lower wages for all productive Americans. Who is John Galt? TEXIT!
