I’ve been listening to JWR interviews for close to 15 years. IHMO, this is one of the very best in recent years, and addresses the current situation. His understanding is not limited to the practical issues we face, but extends into the economic, the financial system, and all other threats that are germane to the topic. His back ground in intelligence appears to be the template of a broad and deep analysis, that has been on going for several decades.

I received one of the last signed hard cover copies available of Patriots, Surviving the Coming Collapse from JWR’s reserve. My original copy was lent out, never to been seen again. If you have not read any of his novels, that are essentially how to manuals, in disguise, start with that one. Founders would be next on that list. Both are are written by a visionary.

NC Scout, Thank you for this interview post at a most critical time.
This episode was truly a pair of active, visionary professionals, in a discussion where we were more than a fly on the wall, we were spoken to directly while being guided by shared insights.
We were privy to a sage exchange, free of ego and pomp…this is a RC Episode I will share with those who’s eyes I have been trying to open. It didn’t lead too far ahead, gave us solid work for today, and a glimpse into the potential of a future tomorrow.
    Thank you!!

Great interview and I got Patriots read too for the first time and have tons of notes and perspectives I hadn’t considered before. Living close to the Canadian border it is not so easy the attend formal training so any and all learning ops are greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

Discovered JWR in the 90s when “The Gray Nineties” was posted online. I was really looking forward to this interview when you talked about it a short time ago. It did not disappoint. Thanks for this.

I handed out two copies of Patriots and… yeah. Anyway I want to comment on the subject of bartering. I am in the process of contacting local producers in order to form a community co-op and mutual protection org. Looking ahead, one factor that needs to be considered is the potential threat from government seizures of private resources via the ‘state of emergency’ . Another is the manufactured shortage of what I call the ‘Farmer’s big three’ – feed, fuel and fertilizer. Without those we’ll all be taking our turn at the plow. One way to help mitigate that is to re-purpose animal dung to produce methane gas. Any dairy should have sufficient raw material to work with in order to be self sufficient. However safely re-purposing the gas venting from political entities is extremely hazardous to all known life forms and must be avoided at all costs.

JWR Psalm 91 Amen to that brother!!
