Russia wants nothing to do with Ukraine. If they are compelled to do something about it — by either US, or Ukrainian provocations — they will simply beat the living shit out of the Ukrainian army, then go home. Like in Georgia.

If Russia wants anything back it would be Alaska. Quite obvious. Still plenty of oil & minerals in the ground. Strategic seaports in the Aleutians, Bering Sea & easy access to the Pacific. On top of that, a return to the North American continent after 150+ years would really give the US & even Canada something to be concerned about. Also, I just read the article about Alaska’s governor looking at the militia model along with several other states. Sounds like a prelude to secession.

FYI, what is happening right now is far more serious than what I experienced during the Cuban Missile Crisis back in October, 1962. Most Americans spent the month getting ready for a possible nuclear war. Fast forward, 60 years & all I can say is the masses could care less. They may not even know where Ukraine is located but are damn well looking forward to Super Bowl Sunday.

Russia gave Alaska to the US to keep the British out of the east Pacific. Almost worked but ‘Canada’ was formed to incorporate‘British’ Columbia which no one living there wanted.Imagine where we would be without 150 years of intrigue and war by the castle dwellers and their bankers. ‘Ukraine’ is another abscess from that era.

You’re right. Both the British & Russian Empires were in the mist of the Great Game at the time. Both wanted to control & colonize most of Asia. Also, Czar Alexander II & Russia sided with the North during the War between the Union & Confederacy. Amazing though, that France would get control of Indochina in 1887 after their war with China. And a dozen years later, the US gets the Philippines after the Spanish American War. To this day, I often wonder what would have happened if Alaska was still owned by Russia & the French were still in Indochina/Vietnam.

Yes sir, the Russians sent fleets to New York and San Fransisco on October 1863 to ensure the Brits and French stayed out. Almost no one knows this. The Tsar and Lincoln were pen pals. One ended serfdom , the other slavery because both knew industrialization and urbanization were making that paradigm obsolete. Both paid with their lives. Russia and USA will always be seen as upstart by the inbred Eurotrash.

      Agreed.
It’s sad yet funny watching our “elites” try to goad the Russians into attacking so they can get bogged down in a Vietnam 2.0 or Afghanistan 898242.0 situation.

The Ukrainians must be pretty stupid not to see that the US is trying to use them the same way Brit/France used Poland in WW2. At least the limeys and frogs had the decency to promise they’d invade Germany even though they never intended to. The US is basically saying, “don’t worry bro, provoke Russia into burning down your whole country and we’ll try to talk Europe into letting itself freeze to death to cost Russia some foreign currency. You’ll totally feel like you are on the winning side, which will make holodomor 2 worth it.”

I see this crap in the Ukraine as a side show to distract us. What he really wants is to imprison everyone who is against his agenda which is 80 million Trump voters. He will use the outrage and protest of our involvement in the Ukraine to create a false flag to implement martial law. I’m just guessing on this but it wouldn’t surprise me if it happened.
