Global New World Order Formation Is Reaching its Tipping Point, by Scipio

The war in Ukraine has greatly accelerated the coming together of the new geopolitical global order. The speed of events around the world in the last several days have been nothing less than mindboggling. The unipolar world, dominated by the USA, that existed after the collapse of the USSR in 1989 and the end of the Cold War has now splintered into several now clearly discernable factions.  The reigning hegemon, the USA, is on the verge of being challenged.  The question has been, who is going to be the counter parties in at least a bipolar new world order or perhaps a multipolar world order?

The West has been playing by a set of rules they created forty years ago, and have enforced this “rules based” order. They could do that because they ruled the world. Those days are over, and it appears the West doesn’t realize it or is delusional thinking that what worked in the old days still works. The collapse and debacle of the American withdrawal from Afghanistan will perhaps be used by historians in the future to mark the end of this “rules based” order.

Case in point, when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1989, a weakened Russia sought assurances from the West that NATO would not be allowed to expand to Russia’s borders.  The West promised they would make rules to assure that would be so.  However, the West changed the rules, again and again until NATO is on Russia’s doorstep today.  Russia has asked for legal guarantees but the West insists on “rules”.  Rightfully so Putin called the West an “empire of lies”.

American and the West’s response to the war is dumber than their provocations leading up to the war.  Wanting to “punish Russia” the West has unleashed a storm of sanctions the world has never seen. Ousting Russia from SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) is a big one. SWIFT is essentially a worldwide banking transfer system making almost instantaneous financial transfers between members. Not being able to use SWIFT, Russia will have to use old technology like Telex which is much slower and adds additional costs in doing business. Chief among the West’s actions are the economic sanctions prohibiting other countries from trading with Russia.  It also freezes the assets of top government officials such as Putin and the oligarchs. (America’s oligarch are people like Warren Buffett and Bill Gates for example) But the sanctions impact the Russian people also, not just the oligarchs. Artists, athletes, and others who have nothing to do with the Russian government have been banned from international performances. Disturbingly, Facebook says it is now OK to spread hate speech if it is directed toward the “Russian people and Russian soldiers”.

The ECB (European Central Bank) Europe’s Federal Reserve has ordered member banks to monitor bank accounts of ordinary Russians living in Europe.  The ECB document says the action should be based on the “basis of national origin”. In Spain, banks won’t lend money to Russians living there. There have been a parade of major American business just walking out of Russia leaving tens of tens of thousands of Russian employees unemployed. The Russian people have been up to this time indifferent to the West, not anymore. This is the beginning of the clash of civilizations Sam Huntington predicted.

The last time something like this happened was at the end of WW I.  Defeated Germany was required to pay reparations for the war to the West.  The amount was so much, the German people suffered with shortages for years.  Worse, Germany had to sign the treaty that had a “war guilt clause”. It said Germany was 100% guilty for the war. These two things festered with the German people until they lashed out with a blitzkrieg into Poland starting WWII resulting in tens of millions of deaths and the widespread destruction of Europe. That’s what happened the last time world leaders got it wrong.

The net result of the West’s sanctions recently is it has changed the dynamics of the growing co-operation of Russia and China to one of rapid dependency on one another as the West is threatening China with sanctions also. There is already an agreement between them to trade swapping Rubles for Yuan, bypassing the US Dollar.  Surprisingly Saudi Arabia is talking with the Chinese about accepting Yuan, not US Dollars in payment for oil. The possible game changer in this international realignment is India suddenly inserting herself in the mix. India is talking to Russia about buying oil with Rupees for Rubles once again bypassing the US Dollar. Suddenly, North Korea is coincidentally rebuilding some of its collapsed military sites and tests of long-range missiles after years of dormancy during Trump’s presidency.

The jaw dropper in this group is the sudden insertion of India into the Russian-Chinese cooperation mix. India and China traditionally have had their issues with one another with military clashes happening as recently as the last year. Here is some perspective on the potential such an alliance would have. China and India have a combined population of 2.8 billion of a world’s 7.9 billion population. China is the second largest economy (soon to be number one), India is the 6th, and Russia is the 11th. If the Saudi’s decide to join this block, then they are the world leader in oil production, China leads the world in Coal production, and Russia leads the world in gas production. Energy shortages is the new coming crisis. China is number one in rare earth materials, India number 6, and Russia number 7.  Russia is the number 6 producer of uranium and China is number 9 (Ukraine incidentally is number 10)

It appears a Russia-China-India-Iran-Saudi Arabia world order is possibly materializing right before our eyes. Michael Every of Rabobank said, “At this point, one must surely notice that a new ‘Berlin Wall’ is going up. The issue is that this time the economies on the other side of it have VAST amounts of both physical commodities that we need, and the manufacturing supply chains we also need. The shock and pain of this decoupling, which both sides are driving, is therefore only just beginning to be felt.

Understanding that a new world order is rapidly approaching will help you see what is unfolding before your eyes. Instead of being puzzled and bewildered you will instead follow the flow of events with a watchful eye. It will also help you from wasting your time and energy choosing “sides”.  Neither side is the good guys, that’s not the issue for your preps. There aint nothing you or I can do about it except watch its twists and turns and plan accordingly for its personal impact. If in the extreme you had to bug out to a foreign country, where would you go?  In the new world order, where you would go today may not be where you would want to go tomorrow. Keep your eyes open and keep your emotions in check.

Spot on. The Indian position in all this is a head scratcher. The Indians have no love for the Chinese and Chinas support of the Pakistanis has always been a wedge in their relations. Recently they have engaged with the Western militaries to a larger degree–but they retain relations with the Russians at the same time. Not a simple situation…

I do have to say this though….The Russians whining about “security guarantees” regarding NATO expansion made at the time of their collapse is laughable for some many reasons.

First, Losers don’t set the terms. They lost and in many cases WE had to clean up their messes. Even to include Afghanistan-that nation became a terrorist haven largely because of THEIR invasion. Second at the time of the collapse the Soviet Diplomatic corps was highly regarded with many decades of experienced leaders. Show me the agreement where the US and the West agreed not to expand Nato eastward? Not throw away lines by various and sundry American diplomats but the ACTUAL PHYSICAL ENFORCEABLE AGREEMENT- a Treaty, a Diplomatic Agreement-hell even a Presidential Memorandum etc…. There is none. And any diplomat worthy of that title KNEW AS MUCH at the time. If they were “fooled” they have only themselves to blame in that regard. 3. Ask yourself, would Russia be in Ukraine right now if Ukraine still had the Third largest nuclear arsenal in the world? Yes or no? No. They would not. The Ukrainians were given MUCH MORE robust promises of security etc….than the Russians ever were— and look where we are. If that’s not the height of hypocrisy, then I dunno what is. 4. You’re dealing with sovereign nations. Nations the Russians illegally occupied for over a half a century- ask the Hungarians-1956 or the Czechs 1968 about what they think of Russia’s whining about their “security”.

“It appears a Russia-China-India-Iran-Saudi Arabia world order is possibly materializing right before our eyes.”

It only gets worse–India is super pissed that Sleepy Joe and the Pentagram left 600,000 weapons, 40,000 vehicles and 14,000 NODs when we left the ‘Stan.

The back-channel tribal swaps ‘n sales bazaars in the ‘Stan of at least some of this abandoned kit will get into the hands of India’s enemies without doubt…. money talks, BS walks.

MbS is pissed we’re cutting SA off from more weaponry sales which crimps their war upon Yemen.

    Iran–well, it’s Iran.

China and RUSS–well, birds of a feather. GOLD birds–they have been scooping up phizz gold by the ton. Wait until Xi comes out with a GOLD-BACKED yuan. You really think the BIS, globohomo banks, brokers, and SWIFT won’t pivot to kiss the behind of a gold denominated yuan? Think again.

It’s been well reported that Russia and China have been discussing an alternative to the SWIFT system for YEARS. If we had responsible leadership, every effort would have been made to foil this possibility instead of accelerate it.

I’m also not sure why a few people who post here lust for the obliteration of Russia. At the very least, even from an amoral but practical view, a viable, but contained Russia is what should be sought for the sake of international stability.

A collapsed/collapsing Russia means nuclear war and/or a situation in which large parts of Russia are taken over by China, giving them beyond just lebansraum, but the natural resources of Siberia as well as the fresh water of lake Baikal, all of which would be a complete disaster for the west.

Actually, even though I mildly ragged on Joel Skousen a while back (sorry Joel), I do agree with his view that in the event of any major world kinetic conflict, the Chinese will eventually backstab the Russians if they feel they’ve been sufficiently weakened.
