Every morning I check my emails and they are overly populated with a lot of stuff I am not interested in and don’t need. Today I am grateful for the email I received from Mr. Stephen Harris who runs Knowledge Publications Corporation at http://harris1234.com/ Steve is well known for his expertise in preparedness, especially when it comes to energy production.

Today I received an email from Steve regarding the availability of a FREE PDF download of the book ‘Nuclear War Survival Skills’ by Cresson H. Kearney. I think that this is an amazing opportunity to have the information one needs to procure in advance of the encroaching scenario of having to survive a nuclear event.

Harris has been my mentor for several years. I continue to learn from his knowledebase, which is never ending. Regarding current events, do you know to seal windows? Yes, great. Well what about your baseboards??

I’ve been preparing for nuclear war since my first visit to a fallout shelter back in 1958. Yes, I’m very familiar with the term duck & cover. Practiced it quite a bit during the Cuban Missile Crisis, October, 1962. People were getting well prepared for the inevitable 60 years ago. In 2022, with a threat even bigger, no one seems to care. Then again, there’s no civil defense in the US anymore. It’s been pointed out at this site & others. On the other hand, Russia has not only upgraded shelters from the Soviet era, but also has constructed new ones. The population is now on alert for a possible nuclear exchange. At least AP is well aware of it & has provided readers with excellent resources for surviving such a threat that could happen at any moment.

By the way, I still shudder at seeing that CD logo in the above photo emblem along the once ubiquitous black & yellow fallout shelter signs outside of many public buildings in the late 1950’s & 1960’s. Also, I still remember the monthly tests on AM radio for the Emergency Broadcasting System (CONELRAD) & American made radios that had the triangular CD logo at 640 & 1240 kHz.

I have to make a retraction regarding my last post. Steven Harris has banned me from his Telegram group, and others I do not use, because I am in his eyes a weak minded Jesus fuking freak. He is not my mentor. I forgive him for bearing false witness against me, as I see it. How I went from ‘worthy’ (his word) to an evil man that follows the teaching of Jesus and prays is beyond me. No hard feelings. Still a free country. And so it goes
