Cold war again. Soviets attack thru the Fulda gap across the north German plain. Tac nukes or blood agents (AC) deployed to maintain the attack NATO retaliates and its all over but the cryin.
You know, I discounted tactical nukes right up until last week. Tin foil hat bet: Putin stages a dirty bomb in Moscow and then nukes Ukraine in response to break the stalemate. If he uses nukes, that is.
There is no stalemate. Russia walked in almost unopposed. He’s hoping the threat of what he could do leads to the current admin agreeing to the separation of the 2 republics. If there was a real war going on there would be lots of footage of it online. I’ve seen more compelling urban warfare on Worldstar.
My bet is the US stages a False Flag event that leads to a nuclear exchange.

I cannot believe that the zipper heads in DC are actually proposing a “no fly zone” over Ukraine, to be enforced by the US and NATO. They are freaking insane. Any kind of shooting exchange between Russian and any outside forces will assuredly escalate to insane levels in a matter of hours–not to mention the intentional sabotaging of the Russian economy by outside countries.
Do they think all of this action will not lead to dire consequences. Japan went to war with the USA over an oil and scrap steel embargo. What is Putin thinking right now that they are confecting and stealing all Russian assets (government and private) all over the world as I type this. Add to this the pouring in of weapons into Ukraine to kill more Russians and so forth.
I could come to an explosive boiling point in the next couple weeks or even less.
What you have here in Ukraine versus Russia is the Ukes being used as pawns to poke the Russian bear in the eyes with a sharp stick for many years now–and DC (and other thug nations) reacting when the Bear decides its had enough. All the fucking propaganda is completely one sided now–especially the shit now being propelled that Putin is mentally unstable, which is the propaganda ploy used against anyone TPTB deems needs to be removed/killed/assassinated.
They are willing to paint Putin into a corner and this guy is going to hit the launch buttons without hesitation.
The bright spot after the canned sunshine subsides is that the kill ratio of liberal-communists to conservatives will be about 9 to 1 and I can live with those numbers.

Russia hasn’t even sent in their Contract NCO battalions yet. Currently the Conscript forces are getting eating alive. That’s why they can barely manage to turn a Mobile SAM system on and operate it properly. Let alone return fire.
I predict a total collapse of the Ukraine Military by March 15. With mass surrenders and flag changes.
At which point, I think Congress is telling the truth. 10-20 years of ASW and UW.

Q: How is it we’re seeing these scenarios and even having these discussions 30+ years after the fall of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War?

They say Russia and China are in a much stronger alliance to remove us from the chess board. What if….China is ramping this up to remove Russia, the US and Europe leaving only them? But on the other hand they wouldn’t have much of an economy. On the other, other hand, so what if it’s only them remaining as a power without competitors?
Lost in the shuffle is the self immolation of the dollar/ trade regime with this sanctions idiocy. Like it was planned or something…..Truckers and the rest of us will soon have a new problem- nothing to haul. The EU would be better off being nuked than what Shwab and friends have in store now that ‘they have to go green’.

I have read that modern Nukes are so efficient they hardly produce any fallout. But they produce A LOT of other radiation when they pop.
The question then is. Which one are they gonna hit us with? Scorched and Salted Earth, or Tactical Field Dominance?

Dirty little secret at least when I was in the Navy 83-89 every Soviet submarine was tracked and had at least one shadow on its tail. At that time we held a serious advantage in stealth, and they couldn’t track our boomers, but all of theirs great a shadow/tail shortly after leaving their territorial waters. The range of their boomers MIRV’s meant they didn’t need to sail to launch, only to have a chance at survival. Their missiles were never known to be that accurate, and it’s quite possible most especially land based might fail to launch, fail to target or fail to detonate. We may never know, and I’m happy about that.
The holdovers left to Russia may not be improved enough to be anymore effective, hopefully we don’t have to load test them anytime soon.
Doesn’t sound at all like healthy doeses of propaganda interjected anywhere in those assessments.
Try this on for size. We do not have an equivalent number of subs, total, SSN or SSBN, to shadow just their missile subs.
Point is, our leaders are literal idiots, and are fucking around to leave us to find out.
