A “refugee” attacked a cop and got killed. Governor Whitmer is using it to show how much she hates cops.
MICHIGAN – Governor Whitmer is facing another issue in her re-election for Governor. A recent fatal shooting is shining a light on her lack of support for police.
Last week, 26-year-old Patrick Lyoya who is from the Democratic Republic of Congo, was fatally shot by police during a traffic stop.

Videos captured during the shooting show Lyoya stepping out of his car before the officer was able to approach him.
The videos are from a body and patrol car camera, a cellphone, and a home surveillance system.
The officer then requested Lyoya show his license and asked that he return to his vehicle. Allegedly Lyoya refused this request and began to run away.
After a quick chase, the officer seized Lyoya, and the two began to struggle to reach for the officer’s Taser.
Following the struggle, the officer fired his weapon, hitting Lyoya in the head and killing him.
The situation is still under investigation.
