We’re over thinking Russia’s aggression. They’re a bully and they want someone else toys. Russia was a major source of study in International Relations Studies at W&M in the 1970s. I’m on familiar ground. One thing about Russia, they have never honored any agreement -ever- unless it was convenient.

Boiling it down to it’s simplest common denominator Russia is acting like an abusive boyfriend and Ukraine and the rest do not want a reconciliation. We don’t have to know why. They just don’t. They want a Restraining or Non-Contact Order against Russia. NATO might fill the bill.

It’s risky to go against the pack here and disagree with the narrative without getting jumped on. We’ll give it a shot anyway.
The postings I have seen seem to slant toward Russian justification and rationalization as to why they do what they do. We’ve seen the studies and the logistics as to why. None of which justifies their invasion, turning cities to ash and wholesale murder. What was, was. Their empire is over.
Their huge landmass and their Nuclear weapons makes any invasion highly unlikely. They want land for economic as well as greed.

I know the mention of Ukrainian Nazis is suppose to subliminally make Russia the white hat. I don’t think it matters. Ukraine turned to the Nazis in WWII to get rid of the Russians. The hate of Russians runs deep and I’d fight along side of Nazis too to get rid of my enemy.
There may be some abuses by the Ukrainians on the battlefield. Maybe there are, but few and far between. Not like the Russian abuses. My only advice to Ukraine is you don’t leave witnesses and evidence. That means secure all phones on the battlefield.
Ukraine deserves to have their entire territory restored.
Barring some negotiated agreement, it’s going to get worse before it gets better.

I’d wager that Russia will not stop if they get away with Ukraine.

This may be true, however the same is true of America/NATO.

More Bellingcat and Chatham House dollars at work! I can see by the posts how effective all the propaganda has been. Yes, Scout….I agree with you. This whole Ukraine thing is 100% of US/NATO making. Putin and Russia’s security requests were completely rational. The morons in charge have really jacked things up. The reasons why they jacked things up are multitude, but they don’t matter. Bottom line for me and mine is they don’t matter. Russia’s doorstep ain’t my playpen. Not while they got 6k nuclear party favors aimed at my family. Our enemy is much closer to home gentlemen. Don’t let them sucker you into spillin blood or carin bout Ukrop democracy, when we are losin ours right here. These fools in Washington and Brussels hate you and are just fine sending you and yours and every last Ukrainian to die for them…. DAMN! PISSES ME OFF!
