    The black doesn’t work so well. But it the context of mimicking what the enemy might be wearing makes sense. On a pure camo level, the one he did prior with the black stripes on OD worked better. I know there is a concept out there that says no black ever. But some of what I’ve seen indicates that black can work for mimicking shadows and depth. I could see such things working in a deep jungle canopy.

      Black doesn’t disappear at night even to the naked eye like folks think it does. True black is not a color that you are going to find walking around in nature.
      For anyone disagrees, go try to find someone dressed in black at night, and then repeat the process with dark gray, dark brown, dark green, etc. The black will stand out more than the others.
