Jack Lawson Sends: Getting Prepared for Outages – Alternative Power, Part One

What has been the thought in many American minds… “Just waiting. The shytte is going to fly… soon!”

“Still waiting. The whole thing is going to crash and burn!”

“Hmmm, can’t go on much longer. The proverbial shytte has to hit the fan, it just can’t continue as is.”

Then, eventually…

“Well, it’s a screwed-up mess, but it looks like it’s going to keep going for a long time.”

This is what’s been going through most American’s minds over the last decades and especially the last few years regarding Catastrophic Events. Events that will disrupt your life and may cause you harm or death. Life changing events, like no food. People nervously waiting for something bad to happen, but it doesn’t and they begin to believe disaster may never happen.

The amazing fact of starvation, is that it takes only 30 to 60 days to kill you and your family. Many people have been lulled into thinking that Catastrophic Events will not happen in America. The “Store Food and Water NOW!” warnings that have gone in one ear and out their other ear have no effect on them. They are numb to these warnings and because they have heard these for so long. They think people like me are “out there” and will be warning them the same things years from now. In Hebrew that’s expressed as yada… yada… yada!

A Catastrophic Event is the term which I use to encompass the description of disaster, emergencies, civil unrest and Crisis, etc., in the Civil Defense Manual.

Taking into account the context of a Catastrophe similar to what a Dictionary Definition states, here’s what a Catastrophic Event is in a ‘nutshell’ explanation…

A Catastrophic Event is an event that will interrupt your normal life and that of the majority of people around you and it may progress to cause extreme suffering and death.

A Catastrophic Event is a disaster that could lead to A Collapse Of Society where society becomes totally chaotic and unravels, where society is WROL (Without Rule Or Law). I referred to this in an earlier book as ‘A Failure of Civility.’ But that term just doesn’t fit all the aspects of events and doesn’t fully convey, nor encompass, the reality and all facets of what would happen, as A Collapse Of Society does in the Civil Defense Manual.

Most Americans are anxiety ridden, on edge, impatient, frustrated, waiting and worrying. They know things are not right and feel that something bad is going to happen. But so far, little that’s happened has become life threatening or harmful to most people. So, most think American life will just go on and nothing dangerous is going to materialize to interrupt that for them. For others maybe, but not them.

Widespread Catastrophic Events that affect everyone usually don’t “just happen,” the causes behind them slowly build and you can clearly see this trend if you are alert, watch for the signs and pay attention to news other than the Mainstream News Media and government mouthpiece propaganda.

Some people become aware of threatening issues and prepare for them. But for most people, problems seem to “just happen!” to them when they occur… even though the telltale signs were there for months, years and maybe even decades before. When Catastrophic Events that affect the mass of people do occur, it astounds most people.

Like a Homicide Detective at Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department once told me… “Victims of crime tell me their assailant “just came out of nowhere!”” “The truth is,” he told me… “they’re so preoccupied and absorbed in thinking about other things and in denial that they can be assaulted, that what is clearly a threat that can be seen at a distance and beforehand, seems to “just happen!””

There are four types of Americans that Catastrophic Events happen to…

• There are those ‘Americans’ who are doing all they can to cause the destruction of this country… they know the problems are coming because they’re doing their best to advance them.
• There are those who know problems are coming and are prepared… they’re not surprised when the Catastrophic Event occurs. Events do not “just happen” to these people.
• There are those who know problems are coming, but are unprepared, preferring out of fear and worry to turn a blind eye to what’s coming. They go so far as to label those who warn them to prepare as being “out there” and extremist-conspiracy types as a defense to their guilty, but apathetic state of mind. They suspect problems are coming, but want to live in their “Shangri La” world without worry, head buried in the sand or firmly up their arse.
• And then there are those Americans who don’t have a bloody clue that an avalanche of issues will hit them… they “just happen!”

The latter group continue to stay glued to their iPhone “Entertainment Center,” watch their fantasyland television and Mainstream News Media thinking life will go on forever, as it has. Maybe the sudden increase in the price of gas is an issue to their misdirected and illusionary minds, but that’s the extent of their awareness outside of their concern for and/or involvement in “Woke” causes and pursuing their “utopia” society.

TWO ISSUES that have already happened and are Catastrophic Events. These events have created a “Consequence,” and are not a “Probability…”

• The value of the American Dollar has been destroyed in the international economic world because our reckless spending has made our National Debt unsustainable. International finance is quickly moving away from the American Dollar because American money has nothing tangible to back the currency from being diluted (reduced in value by more printing of dollars).

They do not want to hold American Dollars that will crush their economies and countries, so they’re doing two things… One, getting rid of the dollars they have and… Two, no longer accepting dollars for items they sell. These countries of the world are moving towards commodities backed and/or precious metals backed “Hard Currencies.” THIS will impact and cause drastic increases in the price of EVERYTHING in America.

• There is an international food crisis that is now happening, it just hasn’t gotten to your grocery store yet. It will in the next 12 to 24 months. Production decreases and inflation (from the above failure of the U.S. Dollar) have already impacted the future supply of food. Unless you’re a fool, this is quite apparent in buying food that has doubled or more in price with continuing increases monthly.

In my wife’s country, people were paid at noon and at quitting time to go buy groceries. If they didn’t, their groceries were double in price if they got to the grocer just once a day, after work.

Food America produces will be sold on the International Market by an American Government desperate for “Hard Currency,” despite Americans going hungry, because no one will want American FIAT (look up the definition) currency. I have seen this done in Africa. Food is one of the few products America still makes.

The Globalists’ shock troops are being kept off the streets of America…

I believe the Globalist Elitists Left are purposely holding back on riots and civil unrest to help their Democratic party keep control of the Congress for another two years. If they are successful, during that time, they will butcher the remainder of the Constitution, Christianity, family values and your Individual Liberties.

The Left’s Foot Soldiers, at the direction of the Globalists (point man George Soros comes to mind) are, in my opinion, purposely keeping their BLM, Antifa, LBGXYZ, Pro-Abortion and “every other of their conceivable lunatic groups with a cause” foot soldiers from rioting and widespread protesting.

They know two things… One, that this will help them in the next election. Two, that the Traditionalist Constitutionalists are sick of their riots and protests and will begin to confront them with violence. They don’t want Civil War II now, because they know it will end very quickly for them… they will be destroyed. They need the U.S. Government and military fully under their control before they confront Traditional Constitutionalists and Christians. They need more years of what the present administration is doing to do this.

French Physicist, Mathematician and writer Blaise Pascal’s Law comes to mind, “Consequence outweighs Probability.”

So, if you were waiting… but now beginning to believe America and the World will continue on the chaotic course they’re on forever, realize the problems are here… their impact just hasn’t come full circle. These problems are not a “Probability” …they are a “Consequence!” …and consequences Happen !!

$380 A BARREL OIL?

JP Morgan Contemplates $380 Oil-You Need To Contemplate No Gas, No Groceries, No Job and No Home

Bloomberg has reported that JP Morgan Sees ‘Stratospheric’ $380 Oil if US and European retributions prod Russia to exact punitory crude output cuts.

The article goes on to state that because of the new found economic strength of Russia, Putins’ nation could afford to cut production as much as 5 million barrels a day. JP Morgan proposes that a cut of 3 million barrels/day could push oil to $190 a barrel. A cut of 5 million barrels may catapult crude to as much as $380.

The current United States administration and NATO want a war with Russia. Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene urges the US to leave NATO to avoid a war with Russia. Will our government leaders listen to her? Very doubtful. What does $380 oil and war with Russia mean to we, the American people?

If Russia were to cut oil production that would result in $380 oil, the purpose of that would be to weaken America before it was attacked.

$380 oil means $20+ per gallon diesel. $380 oil means $17+ per gallon gasoline.

If gasoline is $17/gallon, will you be able to afford to drive to work? If you drive an SUV and it gets 17 MPG between city and highway driving and you have to drive 25 miles each way to work, that’s basically a use case of 3 gallons/day times $17 a gallon or a cost of $51/day just to gas up for the day.

That is $1,000 per month just to drive back and forth to work. Add in maintenance and insurance and all of a sudden 50-75% of American will not be able to afford the cost of simply going to work. At that point, how will you make a living for your family?

Better get a bicycle now, get into shape and hope it doesn’t snow in the winter (turn off sarcasm now). Additionally, if Russia cuts 5 million barrels of oil a day from the markets, will there even be any gas to be had in a land where the strategic petroleum reserve has been drawn down to 25 days?

If diesel is $20/gallon, will over the road truckers roll if it cost between $3,000 and $4,000 a day to fill up their rigs? I hardly think so. If semis don’t move, how will groceries-meat, milk, eggs, grains, bread and vegetables get to your supermarket? They won’t. If there are no groceries to buy, what will you do for food? Better learn how to make ‘sawdust sourdough’ like the inhabitants of St. Petersburg did during the siege of Leningrad during World War 2.

If you can’t afford to drive to your job, you will have no job. If you have no job, you will not be able to pay your bills. If you can’t pay your bills you will lose your home or apartment. If you lose your home you will be homeless.

Did you plant a garden? Are you thinking of another source of revenue that you can do from home? Do you have a ‘country cousin’ you can stay with when the major cities in this country erupt into violence when food riots are part of everyday life? Can you consider buying a piece of property in the country (that has a well) and putting a shed on it to have someplace to go to when even the suburbs become untenable and neighbors prey upon neighbors because there is no other option?

I don’t know what a war with Russia would exactly look like. But if America was in a weakened state it may be that Russia would nuke a few major US cities and strategic areas before we knew what hit us. You see, Russia has weapons known as ‘hypersonic’ missiles capable of deploying many warheads from one missile that are too fast to intercept.

The US does-not-have hypersonic missiles to currently compete with Russia and essentially, cannot defend against these high technology armaments. The US is working to catch up. But if you were the Russians, would you wait until your enemy caught up with your hi-tech, or would you punch them in the nose right now? The administration should listen to Represent Greene. But they won’t.

None of this adds up to anything good for the average American. $380 oil equates to no gas, no groceries, no job and no home for a lot of US citizens. Financial markets would be shredded except for the -physical- precious metals and commodities. Please carefully consider the ramifications of this potential scenario and do the best you can for your family. Now.

What you can do to prepare for Catastrophic Events…

Prepare for “Grid Down” before it happens. As always, I recommend you store cases and cases of bottled water or in ‘blue barrels,’ Emergency Food, life sustaining medicines and have some means to keep yourself warm and weapons with which to protect yourself and your family.

Organize with your Neighbors

From what!? From the violence that will come from those who have been consumed by their iPhone “Entertainment Center,” latest Netflix ‘woke’ movie or their Social Justice movements and will be out on the streets and into your neighborhoods for what you have.

These will be the biggest threat to you outside of gangs… because they’re the most selfish, live in a fantasy world and they are the least prepared. They have NOTHING, so they will try to take what you have. They already behave violently, selfishly and illogically! They will behave drastically worse towards those who have what they want when the system stops providing them necessities.

Get together with your neighbors and organize to keep these violent people out of your area. You can’t defend you and your family alone! See the Chapter in the Civil Defense Manual titled… Initial steps-building a CDM Neighborhood Protection Plan™ (NPP). I also term this a “Neighborhood Support Group” (NSG) such as I belong to.

Keep these violent people on THE OUTSIDE of your area. If they get inside your area you cannot defend against them! YOU MUST DEFEND YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD AS A GROUP! Read Chapter 1 of the Civil Defense Manual titled “SELCO’s Story” to see how this guy survived and why you need your neighbors as a group then follow the step by step instructions on how to organize your neighbors.

In the meantime, use the following information to evaluate how to prepare for disruption of the energy grid. Further information, such as “Emergency Lighting-How to Make Candles, Torches, Oil lamps & Lamp Oil” is posted under the ‘Blog & News’ section of the CivilDefenseManual.com website, free for your reading.

The world is slowly turning upside down and it’s not from magnetic pole shift… it is man-made and the tempo is increasing. Expect disruption of the supply chain to steadily worsen. If you don’t realize that’s already in motion, you need to get out more often and observe. When the shortage gets to food staples… you won’t have to get out of your home and observe… it will make itself apparent by people at your front door looking for food… and kicking your door in to take what you have by force. They will be desperately hungry and thirsty.

This reality means disruption other necessities that most people can’t comprehend. Along with all this there will be multiple other Catastrophic Events that will occur at the same time making you believe that hell is visiting Earth. Maybe real pandemic/epidemics, fuel shortages, lock downs, failure of the internet to function, roving gangs, inability to use credit or obtain cash, riots, breakdown in Law Enforcement, Firefighting and Emergency Medical Services, truck strikes or refusal to haul loads into dangerous metropolitan areas, hacking and disruption of financial institutions and disruption of just about every type of business… need I go on? Many of the above issues have already happened or are happening.

Systems taken for granted… such as electrical, natural gas, phones and or water… will not work. Your sources of illuminating darkness hours to light will be limited, for one thing. Heating will be another issue. Where do you get water? Chapters in the Civil Defense Manual address all these issues.

Open flame fire

Fire. Since the age of the Homo Sapiens and Neanderthal man, fire has been the means of cooking, keeping safe from lions and predators, seeing in the dark and keeping warm. Fire can also be one of the ultimate of weapons in warfare and is normally overlooked as such. Its use has evolved in many ways… but it is still simply fire… and can be both friend and foe. See the Chapter in the Civil Defense Manual (CDM) on “Fire and fire protection.”

Fire Prevention Procedures need to be instituted when your CDM recommended Neighborhood Protection Plan^TM (NPP) is activated and fires need to be supervised and restricted. This should be done to minimize the attention the sight and smell of smoke and light that fires can draw to your NPP and to minimize accidental fires. Most heating or cooking fires will be in makeshift containers and in places that a fire should never be, like around Flammables, draperies and other materials that simply easily catch on fire.

The wood burning fireplace that hasn’t been used for a decade and decorative ones or natural gas fueled fireplaces that aren’t suited to have open flame fires in, will be used in an attempt to heat and cook. The result will be buildings and homes burning to the ground during the aftermath of Catastrophic Events. This will happen because fire department response may be extremely slow or non-existent after some Catastrophic Events.

This is another area that your NPP Leadership must educate people on firefighting procedures and control to prevent accidental fires. All fires should be outside, when possible, to prevent collateral dangers like accidental fires, carbon monoxide and hydrogen cyanide gas poisoning and oxygen depletion in enclosed areas.

In a Grid Down situation after a Catastrophic Event, outside fire pits should be used only at night and in areas that contain the fire light as much as possible. Do your cooking and fire use at night if at all possible. Smoke will still be visible on full and partial moonlit nights, but smoke will definitely be visible during the day. To an Outsider or Intruder’s thought train… “Where there is smoke… there’s fire… and where there is fire… there’s food, water and warmth.” Fire discipline and time of use must be rigidly controlled by Leadership… or your NPP may suffer tremendously if it’s not.

Further, be aware that most synthetics, be they clothing or blankets, will melt from a fire and cling to the skin like hot wax. These will cause severe burns and major infections… way worse than cotton and natural materials which will simply burn. See the dangers of gases from synthetics in the Chapter “Fire and fire protection.”

If you’ve come to using open flame after a Catastrophic Event, make sure there are no natural gas leaks from broken lines. In some areas, natural gas will still be flowing or trapped in gas lines and low-level areas, even though water, electricity and all other utilities may not be functioning.

The following information should give you a pretty good sense of how to approach making a decision on what Alternative power sources to use.

Natural Gas

For all you who think you have the foolproof plan by incorporating a natural gas-powered electrical generator as your M.C. Hammer… “U can’t touch this!” alternative electrical source when the Proverbial Shite Hits The Rotating Inclined Planes, beware. The bottom may drop out of your alternative electrical generation bucket because this fuel source will stop, soon after electrical ceases, contrary to urban myth and widespread belief.

Natural Gas’ Reliance on Electrical Grid

Another of the major flaws of Natural Gas grid is its dependency on the electric grid.

The gas grid relies on electricity. The gas grid requires that pressure must be maintained throughout the system. This pressure is maintained via a system of compressors and pumping stations.

The good news is that some of the main compressor stations, feeding the large interstate pipelines, are typically fueled by natural gas and generate their power with it, to keep operations running. Gas-fueled compressors could be more widely used throughout the system, but they are noisy and have environmental implications. So in urban areas, the gas distribution companies typically use electric pumps and compressors to bring gas to the consumer. It’s not hard to see where the problem lies here. No electricity, no gas supply.

If you are lucky enough to live along a line that is powered by its own natural gas, you should still have some pressure pushing gas down the line, as long there are no breaks in the line.
