Nothing is inevitable. I mean, we could all just lay down, be peaceful, lawful, and obedient and surrender. That would stop a war.

Not that we are going to, nor should we. Anyone that calls for that in any fashion IMO is not on our side and is a loyalist to this illegitimate regime, even if their intentions for saying “just be like MLK” are rooted in good faith.

Only our local communities, hopefully regions or states, but at least each city, town, and neighborhood. Suburbia will take ALOT, because even in red states almost all cubical and “zoom” people feed and feed off the system. Some here in DFW are successfully fighting at the city and school level, yet at the end of they day they shop Amazon over the local shops and do everything electronically and work for Corporate America.

If the power stays on and purchasing trends shift against wokeness, suburbia will likely change as far as those things mentioned above as long, they are located in a red area. If things get rockier, things will go to crap, but somewhere a few ‘hardy families’ will emerge, only because they always do. Then we can expect predators from 20 miles down the road in Dallas itself.

An illustrative story: we had a small tornado fly over which only took shingles and trampolines, but which scared the crap out of everyone. We talked about shelters; I volunteered to do the research. A month goes by, I learn things. Two months, and I finally find the right supplies for our neighborhood, given foundation and HOA considerations. My neighbors who were practically pooping themselves were now: “That’s so interesting but keep me posted. ” I get a shelter. A month later my neighbors: ” “Well you know we are so busy and have a vacation to plan for, and that little tornado wasn’t that big of a deal anyway.”

HOPELESS. But a real learning moment for my wife and me.

Guess who has a woodpile and backup generator, and who doesn’t, even after the grid crashed because windmills don’t turn in the ice?

    Hopeless twice.

I know how you feel Vagabond. I made up a note book that was a poor man’s limited watered down version of Jack Lawson’s Civil Defense Manuel. I spent weeks on it, summoned my siblings, nephews and nieces in other cities to meet in a central location. I went over the threats facing us, and gave each of them the note book. That was five years ago. A couple of months ago one of my sisters gave me back the notebook I gave her five years ago and said, “Here, we haven’t needed this.” I love my sister but …

“War” or “conflict” is just semantics to me. WHEN we reach the point of SHTF/WROL, who cares what the engagements are called? I feel that the Right has compromised for decades, giving in over and over to Leftist demands and policies. I suspect that the “tipping point” will have to do with guns. When they come for our weapons, folks will realize the government has gone too far.

His civil war v civil conflict seems like a distinction without a difference. “All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.”

The second civil war began when the Frankfurt School infiltrated the academy, and the long march through the institutions began. An act of war by stealth and deception, is still an act of war. They have been fighting quietly, and successfully almost a century now, and their victims just don’t get it. The great failing of “conservatives”, is that most of them seem to think they are voting their way out of this, when their opponents want them dead.

Right now they are getting away with stealing “elections”, creating a famine, a fuel shortage, and an economic crisis. They are facilitating a literal invasion via what used to be our southern border. An army will rise from the ranks of the invaders, and be used against Americans. Maybe if we Voat Moar Harder…
