Monkey see, monkey do. Let Austin burn to the ground and all the monkeys burn with it.

The Austin PD arrested an Army serviceman for defending himself against the same people they just ran from. The difference? It’s easier to arrest one man than it is a crowd, however disorganized and poorly armed.

There is a lesson here somewhere.

Austin has been off since I was in grad school near there over a decade ago; this is just a logical in point. You have all these people from California and elsewhere, moving in

I remember when I went down for a friend’s wedding, my taxi driver said that 114 people are moving to Austin every day. That was nine years ago!

Unfortunately, so much of Texas is all hat and no cattle. This will never get fixed short of measures that we all know are eventually coming.

It’s like this around the country. The capital city I live in of a certain state has changed so much from when I was a kid; we have illegal aliens, west coasters, and everyone else moving in. It’s destroying the area I grew up in.

I’m sure that most of us reading here good point this out in our own locales. We can’t keep running away as a people. We need to stay and fight.

I have said it before , “There is no Shangri-La ” anywhere ! Better to fight for what is familiar than run and try and fit in somewhere else, ….. (clue here folks ) you will always be the guy from away .
