All pistol braces to be banned, and SB Tactical knew about it…

“What you shouldn’t get caught with”…

Not only “No!” but “Hell No!”

How many cops do these clowns think they have? How many of us are there?

The left is high on their own supply, and retarded in math and critical thinking. We have been losing only because we’ve played the game believing in a corrupt system. Time to stop playing. Full stop.

    • wwes December 17, 2020 at 09:34

And this is the attitude that everyone needs to have, and the very attitude that the powers that be DON’T want us to have. Larege numbers of people who refuse to be subjects any longer are a huge threat to them.

    • Liberty or Death! December 17, 2020 at 20:15

With you 100%. I wish there was a way we could do this with hope of peace in our lifetimes… but I fear we will have to pay the price of the Liberty Tree and give this gift to our children. For me, that’s only possible because of my faith in the King.

      • wwes December 18, 2020 at 08:46

Amen brother! I pray that more people will find the Lord and realize the strength that faith gives you.

  3. Ar pistol? December 17, 2020 at 09:20

He said make the barrel longer, register it as sbr, or destroy it. Why not take the pistol brace off and it is an AR pistol. A pistol is a pistol , no brace no stock, right??

    • Charles Valenzuela December 17, 2020 at 11:46

Yes, that is correct. The whole thing revolves around those “braces”. Take the brace off, and the whole “SBR” thing is gone. Just a pistol again. ATF’s own letter says: “This separate process may include the following options:
registering the firearm in compliance with the NFA (described above), permanently removing the stabilizing brace from the firearm and disposing of it, replacing the barrel of the firearm (16” or greater for a rifle, or 18” or greater for a shotgun), surrender firearm to ATF, or destroying the firearm.” So, just take the brace and its non-pistol buffer tube off. Voilà – just a pistol again.

  4. Dirk December 17, 2020 at 09:25

Hell no!. My associates were on this last night, concerned about what the atfs going to announce today. Frankly I don’t care what they say, or do anymore. I’m done with their bullshit. While I don’t have any braced pistols, I may go out and buy several just because.

    • oughtsix December 17, 2020 at 12:27

      “Go buy more, just because..”

Great minds, and all, Dirk. Just my thoughts as well.

This just in, “All white-conservative-Christian men soon to be banned as well”. They steal an election, and now declare war on half the country. The rule of law is dead. Anyone still interested in obedience to this government(specifically laws designed to disarm you) is a fool. They can pass what they want. Enforcing it is a whole different can of worms.

  6. Garand69 December 17, 2020 at 09:58

    I agree oughtsix, HELL NO!

But any advantage in numbers we have is crippled with lack of conviction, “we” have everything to lose, I have been watching it for over 30 years. 99.9% of “lawful” gun owners like their jobs, their homes, their families and fear losing it all. They don’t train, they haven’t prepared their hearts, minds and bodies to go off the reservation and fight for their Freedom, they will either comply, or hide their formally legal firearms and never train with them, because they may get caught (just like in 1934, ’68, ’86, and soon to be ’20).

The Leftists have plenty of conviction and the backing of the gubmint, and have nothing to lose, they’re the “good guys” saving humanity from evil guns, and they have the support of many of your neighbors that will quietly turn you in for a nice reward.

Sure there will be a much better showing than in the ’90’s. Might even be some impressive stand-offs like the 1st Bundy Farm stand-off. Then a few Weaver style raids will take out a few of our Families, then a few Waco style will take out a group or two out, but an actual armed resistance big enough and coordinated enough (that isn’t completely infiltrated by alphabet agencies) to turn the tide?? Sadly no.

90% of the Shotgunners will step aside like they did in the 80’s and 90’s claiming no useful purpose of a Shockwave. The Match Rifle Boys will step aside, just like they did in the 80’s and 90’s claiming no useful purpose of a 7.5″ AR “pistol”.. Hell come to think of it, where was the armed uprising in ’18 during the “bumpstock ban”? There wasn’t, they did exactly what the Machine gun fellas did in ’68, complied, or hid, and therefore stopped training with, their “contraband”.

Now oughtsix, I’m not trying to piss you off, though I’m sure I did, because I’m pissed at the thought of it all, just being realistic. You may have better luck where you are at, but living in the People’s Republik of Illinois, I have little optimism, despite training great folks how to shoot on a very regular basis. The lack of comms, the lack of, fitness, and the lack of conviction disheartens me to no end.

I pray your right, but I’m planning for the worst. Keep your powder dry.

      “we” have everything to lose”

Look at how many small business owners have lost everything because of the covid hoax. If they’ve already lost it all, there ain’t much left to lose.

      • Garand69 December 17, 2020 at 10:14

I’m 100% with you NCS, I just have doubts about the other 99% or “gun owners”.

      • wwes December 17, 2020 at 10:19

The way I see it, I know Christ, I know where I’m ultimately going, everything I have is a blessing from God that I can’t take with me, and if I’m not willing to put it on the line to do what is right then I didn’t deserve it in the first place. I would speculate that you have a similar outlook.
There is too much fear going around. To borrow one of your quotes: “Now is not the time for fear, doctor” Besides, our side is going to win at the end of the day anyway 👍

      • Milo Mindbender December 19, 2020 at 10:13

IIRC it was Kris Kristopherson who wrote ” Freedom is having nothing left to lose”, made famous by J. Joplin. I at this time have enough left to lose that going kinetic without a personal provocation is not a viable ootion, but that may not be a forever answer. That keep pushing, and more deplorable will realize it isn’t business anymore its gone personal.
I chose to ignore their edict and hope they chose to ignore my disobedience we will both be happier in the long run.

  8. WV Joe December 17, 2020 at 11:03

Scout. Old civilian here from West by God Virginia. I train regularly and we have our neighborhood group to protect our neighborhood. But my question to you and others here at AP is if/when this goes kinetic how and who will organize large numbers of “mossy oak militia’ to fight?

    • kelly December 17, 2020 at 11:45

As I suspect people like NC Scout know better than I do, this hasn’t been a kinetic battle and likely won’t be for some time, if ever (unless a major figure sets some precedent to rally behind). All means short of major force will be used to ‘kettle’ (as I saw another commenter aptly describe it) those who attempt to retain their freedom. The moves afoot by those represented by WEF/’NWO’ appear to be masterfully executed and long-planned across the medical, economic, political, and media spaces. The ‘conservative’ opposition appears to be a relatively co-opted shambles. I suspect the actions of any rag-tag militia will easily be construed to the net detriment of freedom fighters. At this stage you will likely garner far more bang for your buck from intelligent political action rather than brute force. I know many here will disagree and even see me as an enemy, but I believe the sinister events we’re living through are orchestrated by a tiny, mostly faceless elite. These are the true enemy. Yes, there are many being duped and used by that elite, but we’re already losing a battle if we fight those dupes rather than convince them and bring them to our side.

      • wwes December 17, 2020 at 12:52

I don’t see you as the enemy, or hate you, but I do believe that it has pretty well been proven that political action and trying to win them over to our side isn’t going to fix the situation, and they are constantly taking actions to make it even less effective. At this point my personal feeling is that pursuing political action does nothing but paint a target on your back and give the enemy positive ID of where you stand, as well as distracting us from focusing on training and preparing for the inevitability of things going kinetic. Just my opinion.

      • boss21 December 17, 2020 at 13:04

Kelly, good insights. The US geography/military and the 2A were the composite Maginot Line many relied on as a crutch.
The Ardennes the enemy has been ploughing through are the decadence of the population in general and the complete corruption of the ruling scum. Some Chinese officers I recall wrote a paper a long time ago detailing just that – Unrestricted Warfare. The help Israel gave to China through technology ‘transfers’ and tutelage on accessibility to the swamp must not be forgotten.
Most don’t realize the ‘cowardly’ French took 100000 casualties in the blitzkrieg while their bought ‘government’ escaped to London and the Brits ran to Dunkirk like scalded cats.
        We are the French now.

  9. kelly December 17, 2020 at 11:22

We know puppet Biden’s ultimate intentions. We’ve seen systematic disarmament in all the other major (former) democracies, such as Australia, New Zealand, and Great Britain (coincidentally, or not, Five Eyes countries). We have a manifestly irresponsible, criminal elite that expects to strip us of our remaining freedoms (power) and keep us mollified with mindless entertainment, state welfare (UBI), recreational drugs, and likely far more sinister means. Conviction (maybe in several senses of the word!) arises from how steadfastly we hold to our principles rather than any certainty in the outcome.

  10. Charles Valenzuela December 17, 2020 at 11:26

You can always take the “brace” off and put a “pistol receiver extension (buffer tube)” on the lower receiver. I kept my original “pistol” buffer tubes (smooth tube with no provision for a brace or stock to be attached, and somewhat larger diameter that a regular tube to prevent installation of anything smaller than those old Sig braces that were made of rubber). Maybe you remember that people used to put a slip-on foam pad over the tube to give themselves a bit of insulation for their cheek in cold weather? Those tubes, and the foam pads, are still available from several sources and they actually work just fine. They don’t look as “tacti-cool” or as “viciously handsome” as the various braces, but they always worked just fine. No need to register anything and call attention to yourself. Still just a pistol. It wasn’t like you really needed a stock-like shoulder stock for a wimpy-recoil 5.56 or 300BLK cartridge anyway, was it? It was really always about the “tacti-cool” factor, wasn’t it? I liked the look too, but the bare pistol buffer tube does the job just fine. I’ll give my “tacti-cool” braces and their tubes to a relative who doesn’t own an AR as “souvenirs of an age of greater freedom” in case they ever become legal again, or I decide to register them as SBRs.

    • wwes December 17, 2020 at 12:57

You can do that, and no, you don’t “need” a stock or brace (which I still personally find inferior to a real stock, but much better than nothing) but if you are actually using that pistol for precision fire it makes a difference.
Also, what happens when the they decide that we can’t have pistols over a certain size or weight, or that accept 30 rd magazines, or that have a forend, or a rail, etc?
Why not just refuse to comply with any more of their bullshit?

      • oughtsix December 18, 2020 at 00:06

“Compliance” is what they want. Masks are the symbol of servitude.

Compliance with edicts from leviathan is the path to slavery and death.

Compliance should be the farthest thing from your hearts and minds.

        RESISTANCE. DEFIANCE. DEATH to tyrants!

  11. WV Joe December 17, 2020 at 11:33

Or is that even possible? Do we just have to be satisfied with our “neighborhood protection plan” as Jack Lawson states in his civil defense manual?

    • NC Scout December 17, 2020 at 12:51

      Is what even possible?

      • WV joe December 17, 2020 at 12:56

Sorry about that My off topic question to you about mossy oak milita ? Im guessing we just protect our neighborhood. And be damn glad if we can even do that.

  12. boss21 December 17, 2020 at 11:58

When the ‘SAFE’ act passed in NY the State Troopers sent out some suits to ‘explain’ the new ‘law’ to the peasantry. One town hall upstate was standing room only.
One peasant had the temerity to demand of the king’s man what about the weapons some already own? ‘You have to register them of turn them in’. The whole place erupted in laughter. King’s man did much glaring and jaw clenching but didn’t say shit. Balance of power I think they call it.
Want to hurt the beast? Buy physical silver. That train is about to leave the station.

  13. Ned December 17, 2020 at 14:12

Notice how one is supposed to “dispose of” the brace to be “legal.” But you can have an extra stock lying around, which is superior to a pistol brace. So if you’re at the range, you can remove the stock from your carbine and use it on your pistol. Illegal of course, but this just illustrates how we can’t ever be “in compliance” with their arbitrary and capricious edicts.

This whole business has the potential to get LEOs shot. If a guy is old and going to prison essentially for life for a pistol brace violation, what’s the difference?

  14. Tallbawls December 17, 2020 at 15:55

(Sarcastically) Oh! How does this affect me? LOL! We are already at war it just hasn’t went kinetic yet!

  15. Al December 17, 2020 at 20:30

Old guy here. I don’t want to steer the conversation away from pistol braces but tomorrow it will be some other firearm. They want us disarmed. We bought whatever we had legally and now they will not be. Are we going to ultimately give them up after they tax and register them? And why should we,already paid tax on them,no registration required (other than the 4473). If we do we have no recourse to whatever dictate they cram down our throats. Whats the answer,I don’t know. One thing for sure,if you pick 100 Despicables (my name for the libtards, take that Hillary) that are on the news we don’t watch and remove them, maybe the others will rethink their actions. Otherwise I know is America’s over if Biden’s handlers get in, may be anyway. As others have said they are coming for us,I’m not getting on the bus (Thanks Frank and Fern). This is the biggest event of our lifetimes and I’m waiting to see how it plays out. I’m sure we will act according to our beliefs and pay the price so many before us have. It cannot be any other way. That said I hope President Trump takes this as far as it can go,including the 2018 executive order. I pray for him to fight this until there are no options left. God give him the strength(First Lady too).

  16. vty1az December 17, 2020 at 22:56

I’m betting this will be selectively enforced.

What I think they’re going to do is demand a record of every rifle caliber pistol 4473 from every FFL, and they’re going to sit on that list. Whenever they want to punish someone your local LEO will be able to refer to that ATF 4473 database.

No need for mass confiscation with battles and lots of dead ATF agents. They can use this as their trump card to put someone away for mouthing off on social media or not wearing their face diaper to church.

There will be an investigation due to negative points on your social credit score, then… oh look! you didn’t register your AR pistol with the ATF.

    • wwes December 18, 2020 at 08:51

One of our local gun stores just got broken into last night, a car was driven through the front door, and left behind. That shop still had a pretty significant stock of AK’s, AR’s, a Barrett or two, and a ton of suppressors. I’m not sure yet what all got taken.
That store also has done a brisk business in AK’s and AR’s the last few years. ATF was all over the place this morning, you can be sure that they have ALL of the 4473’s from that particular shop in their hands now.

      • SOG December 21, 2020 at 10:14

IDK why these shops dont have ballards, the kinds that are like g feet deep below ground with 2-3 foot exposed you ram that and your truck gets cannoed.

    • Frank Overton June 17, 2021 at 22:43

ATF already has a photo copy, and database of every 4473. They have shared them with all state, and local LE through nics checks. When ATF does a site inspection, they get copies of all 4473’s. GCA act of 68 says no records of sales to law abiding citizens will be retained. As ATF says- laws? We don’t need no stinking laws! You can run an ncic database query for addresses, and it will show weapons 4473’d associated with the address. Most local pd’s can run a street, and the response will give all names, addressed, and registered weapons associated, on the street.

  17. 240Geezer December 18, 2020 at 13:03

No. Just no. Every single AR variant I own was assembled by me. Every single lower came through marked in a bound book as “FIREARM”.
Not pistol, Not Rifle, or carbine, or Unicorn. I swap uppers like changing my boxers some days.
So no I will not be doing any of those things. All done playing silly reindeer games.
