Correct on the left/right false dichotomy. The original term was The primary struggle is little vs big. I don’t want myself or mine to be beneath anyone’s boot, whether that boot is painted with a flag or an organization’s logo. The socialists have a thread of this truth but fail mostly in their understanding of human nature and hierarchies. They claim to want one thing but endorse policies that either directly lead to tyranny or lead to a collapse that indirectly leads to tyranny. Our founders were quite a bit smarter because they had a tragic view of human nature and sought to balance in an optimal way the hazards of going it alone with the hazards of integrating in a group.
