New VSTAC Classes on the Schedule!

In addition to the September Support Weapons Class, I recently added two new classes to the fall training schedule.  A Basic Rifleman Course in Ohio and a Team Leader Class in NC.

This 2-day class focuses on baseline skills that are necessary to function as a member of a fire team. Topics covered include individual movement techniques, fieldcraft, marksmanship fundamentals, night shooting, communication when working within a team, and introduction to fire and movement. By the end of this course you will have the necessary skills to shoot, move, and communicate alongside other riflemen.

This 2-day class covers the use of support weapons commonly available to the American Patriot such as Anti-Materiel Rifles (AMRs) and semi-automatic rifles functioning as “automatic rifles.”  Going beyond simple operation and firing techniques, this class covers the full tactical context of when and how to incorporate these weapons into a team of shooters, both defensively and offensively.  Students do NOT need to bring their own support weapons to attend this class.

The Team Leader Class is a 2-day non-firing course of instruction designed to teach students to be effective small-unit leaders. You will learn how to organize effectively into fire teams and squads, and how to take full advantage of commonly available, specialized weapons. We will cover how to use team-based training to mold a group of willing volunteers into a cohesive fighting force. Finally, you will lead a team of fellow students in a series of battle drills to get the experience you need to apply what you’ve learned on your own.

The training schedule is available here.  To register for a class, email me at [email protected].

Team Leader class is excellent! If you don’t have a military background then enjoy your rapid ascent up the learning curve. I’ve taken Scout course, and this really filled in a lot of critical details around operating as a team. The battle drills are a ton of fun, and it really puts the theory into muscle memory. If you want to flank like you mean it, definitely take this course.
